Be a Defender

Being a fundraising cyclist in the 40th El Tour de Tucson is a fun, impactful, and simple way for you and your company, friends, or family to support the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona.

Join us to make a difference in a child's life

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona (SoAzBigs) is a proud beneficiary of the Annual El Tour de Tucson!  This year's event will be hosted Saturday, November 23, 2024.  Riding for SoAzBig's Team Defenders is a great way to support our life-changing, one-to-one, mentoring programs while earning your tour entry AND some great prizes.

Don't forget, Big Brothers Big Sisters is a qualified Charitable Organization (QCO Code 20461) for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. The QCO has changed for 2024!  When you donate you can receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit that reduces the amount you owe the State of Arizona and may increase your state tax refund!  Donate up to $470 if you file single or up to $938 if you file jointly on your Arizona tax return and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit for your tax obligation.  YOU DECIDE how your Arizona tax dollars are spent, keep them right here in Tucson and help ignite the potential in the lives of children in need right now!

By deciding to become a part of Team Defenders and ride/run/walk in the Annual El Tour de Tucson with us, you commit to raising a minimum of $400 by November 1st, 2024, so that you can qualify to participate in the tour for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona.
